Topics of instruction:

To have a broad understanding of pronunciation rules
To start learning the different parts of speech in both English and Italian.
To know what is a noun, or an adjective, and the differences between the English and Italian language
To learn the Italian translation of "the".
To use the verb "to be".
To use the verb "to have".
To use regular Italian verbs.
To translate "a/an".
To know and use adjectives ending with "e"
Present indicative of some important irregular verbs
Modal verbs (be able to, to have to, to want to)

Goals and Objectives:

To introduce yourself and others
To understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases.
To ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know, and things you have.
To interact in a simple way.
To ask for and give basic information.
To greet and respond to greetings.
To use the polite form.
To describe people, appearance and personality
To invite someone, to accept/decline invitation
